We had a terrific experience with Velero. They built a beautiful 18X12 screened in porch and installed an adjacent flagstone patio w/firepit in our backyard. I used Diego and his team to finish my patio ceiling under my deck since the original owners never had one. His team did amazing. They changed the design midway through the project and were always available for advice on adjustments. They were clean and always on time. I always felt like it wasn’t just about the money, but making sure we were satisfied with the work that was paramount. I would suggest them to all of my friends and vouch for their workmanship. 20230506 So far, I am very pleased with Velero Design. I found Velero on Facebook, e-mailed them late Thursday night, and the next day, I got a text from Velero (on Friday). They were able to schedule an employee to come out to discuss my project the next day (Saturday). Alejandro arrived on time, and he was very professional and informative. I had another contractor came out yesterday, and he didn't mention many of the important and key information that Alejandro brought to my attention. For example: the new code for the stairs on the deck is 4 feet wide, and if I were to add a border to the stamped concrete patio, there will be a foot between the edge of the patio and the fence; otherwise, it will be 6 inches. Alejandro was very patient and answered all my questions. He took his time, unlike some contractors who would rush to leave for another appointment or something. When I referred him to my next door neighbor who didn't have an appointment, he went with the flow, and went to talk to my neighbor. I really appreciate Alejandro taking his time with understanding my project as well as stopping by to talk to my neighbor. Looking forward to getting the estimate.

5 stars is not enough to describe our experience with velero. We absolutely love our new deck. Alejandro was quick to address questions and issues during the build and available any time . All the workers on site were fantastic - very respectful of our property, kind and considerate. Given the size of the project it was completed very quickly. The quality is amazing and we greatly look forward to enjoying our new deck for years to come.

Excellent company to do business with! Every exchange was extremely professional. The estimate was very detailed with mockups to provide to our HOA. As our project progressed, we wanted to make some changes. Diego responded promptly with recommendations that resulted in a beautiful final product. We replaced our old, small deck with a newer, larger deck made from Trex with lighted end caps. The project entailed moving our ac and heat pump units to another location in our backyard. We also got a large, stamped concrete patio and a sitting wall constructed.

We used Velero Decks to replace an old deck and could not be happier with the results! The deck is beautiful and the entire process was very smooth. All the way from their first visit to the final review the communication was very easy. They helped us with the HOA and handled the county permit process. During the construction, the project manager always picked up the phone and was happy to discuss any questions that we had. Our house is a corner lot and we have already received so many compliments from people walking around the neighborhood. I would definitely recommend Velero Deck Designs for your deck/patio projects.
